Sara Stokesbury, a sophomore at Avon High School succeeds at more than just dance! Sara recently made all-conference and all-state for cross country. She is at the top of her cross country team and usually crosses the finish line as one of the first runners. She averages under twenty minutes for her races, which are usually 5k’s. Her 4-by-800 meter relay team made it to the state open last season. Sara is featured in a story on Avon Patch, where she also describes how she balances her love for dance and her love for running. Sara is a member of the dance corp, the studio’s competition team. In the article, Sara attributes her endurance to dancing. She studies ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical.
