Kayla Bunnell

Kayla started her tap dancing career at age of 2 1⁄2. Over the last 21 years her love of tap has only grown and expanded into rhythmic tap ten yaers ago. With learning the new technique of rhythmic tap she had multiple opportunities to perform along the East Coast. Over the past 10 years she has had many incredible opportunities to learn from many professionals in the industry. She has taken instruction from Corey Hutchins, Sarah Reich, Hillary-Marie, Michelle Dorrance, Ayodele Casel, Diane Walker, Aaron Tolson, Brenda Bufalino, Jason Janas, Derrick Grant, Jason Samuel Smith, Dormeshia Edwards, Anthony Morigerato, Charles Renato, Kyle Wilder, Elizabeth Burke, Danny Neilson, Nick Young and Roxanne Butterfly. Along with growing in the tap industry she also has had many great experiences in other styles of dance working with people such as David Paul Kidder (Musical Theater), Hayley Bochner (Hip Hop), Missy Lay-Zimmer (Contemporary), Andrew Hubbard (Jazz), Josie Say (Step), Jeh Kulu (African) and many more! Kayla is excited to share her passion and expertise with students at the Dance Connection!
